I've been keeping journals my whole life but never planned to make them public. While my friends posted their every thought on livejournal and then myspace and then facebook, I just kept writing in my journal. I wrote about things I saw while I traveled with my family. I wrote about things I saw in my nightmares. I wrote little stories that came out of my imagination.
And I kept writing them. And now some of those stories are working their way into collections and some may be expanded into novels. And some will be featured in anthologies. And the people who edit those anthologies have asked me about my blog, and my facebook, and my twitter. And I hated to admit that I just didn't have any of those things. So I'm going to try to be a little more public.
I may use this as a forum for flash fiction. I might review the stories of other artists - whether written, filmed, or created in other mediums. I'm just not sure yet, but I guess I'm ready to come out of the shadows and meet you.
